MOISÉS COMO UM TIPO DE CRISTO: HERMENÊUTICA DO TEXTO DE HEBREUS 3.1-6

Resumo

A Epístola aos Hebreus é uma obra fascinante e muito digna de atenção por parte de todos os cristãos de todas as épocas. No tocante a supremacia do Cristo, como o Filho de Deus, fica muito clara a Sua posição superior relativamente aos anjos, pela Sua própria natureza, também diante do grande Moisés ou mesmo de Josué. Além disso, Jesus é superior à ordem sacerdotal, sendo o Sumo-sacerdote, diante do sacerdócio de Arão e da ordem de Melquisedeque. O autor de Hebreus preocupa-se em afirmar que Jesus é o único mediador entre Deus e a humanidade. Diante disso, este trabalho delimitou uma unidade para o estudo (a perícope de Hebreus capítulo três, versículos de um a seis), e estudou-se os seus contextos, a saber: remoto, mediato e imediato. Em seguida, fez-se a análise do gênero literário, foi estabelecida uma data da escrita do texto, determinado o público-alvo primário e o propósito ou propósitos da carta, além de tratar da dificuldade em se estabelecer autoria. Verificou-se algumas variantes textuais e as suas possíveis influências na interpretação. Também foi feita a análise léxico-sintática, semântica, bem como, a comparação das principais versões bíblicas da língua Portuguesa Brasileira, Europeia e Grego. Ao final são feitas as considerações, evidenciando a influência do texto na vida do autor.

Moses as a type of Christ: Hermeneutics of the text of Hebrews 3.1-6

Abstract: The Epistle to the Hebrews is a fascinating work and very worthy of attention by all Christians of all times. When it comes to Christ’s supremacy as the Son of God, his superior position to the angels, due to His own nature, is very clear, even when compared to the great Moses or even Joshua. Furthermore, Jesus is superior to the priestly order, being the High Priest, before the priesthood of Aaron and the order of Melchizedek. The author of Hebrews is concerned to affirm that Jesus is the only mediator between God and humanity. In view of this, this work delimited a unit for the study (the pericope of Hebrews chapter three, verses one to six), and studied its contexts, namely: remote, mediate and immediate. Then, the literary genre was analyzed, a date for the writing of the text was established, the primary target audience and the purpose or purposes of the letter were determined, as well as the difficulty of establishing authorship was dealt. Some textual variants and their possible influences on interpretation were also checked. A lexical-syntactic and semantic analysis was also carried out, as well as a comparison of the main Bible versions in Brazilian and European Portuguese and in Greek. At the end, final considerations highlighting the influence of the text on the author’s life are made.
