A PALAVRA CORAÇÃO EM EZEQUIEL 36.26 COMO ÁPICE DA REVELAÇÃO VETEROTESTAMENTÁRIA ACERCA DA NATUREZA HUMANA

Resumo

O presente artigo demonstra o papel central da palavra hebraica lēb/lēbāb (coração) em tema de antropologia bíblica. O conceito de coração como o centro de tudo o que a humanidade é, representando o ser em sua integralidade, é resultado da revelação veterotestamentária verificada desde a Lei de Moisés, passando pelos livros históricos e pela literatura poética e sapiencial, até atingir seu pleno significado nos escritos proféticos, mais precisamente na promessa de um novo coração, em Ezequiel 36.26. Encerra-se neste texto a compreensão de que o ser humano precisa ser transformado a partir do lēb, de onde surgirá a nova criatura regenerada em Cristo Jesus. A antropologia bíblica possui o papel fundamental de descortinar a natureza humana. E assim o faz a partir da palavra coração, cuja compreensão ajudará a revelar o que as Sagradas Escrituras dizem acerca do dilema humano e qual o único ser capaz de resolvê-lo.

The word heart in Ezequiel 36.26 as the apex of the veterotestmentary revelation about human nature

Abstract: This article demonstrates the central role of the Hebrew word lēb/lēbāb (heart) in biblical anthropology. The concept of the heart as the center of all that humanity is, representing the whole being, is the result of the vetero-testamentary revelation verified from the Law of Moses, through historical books and poetic and wisdom literature, until it reaches its full meaning in prophetic writings, more precisely in the promise of a new heart, in Ezekiel 36.26. This text contains the understanding that the human being needs to be transformed from the lēb, from where the new creature regenerated in Christ Jesus will emerge. Biblical anthropology has the fundamental role of unveiling human nature. And it does so from the word heart, whose understanding will help reveal what the Holy Scriptures say about the human dilemma and which is the only being capable of solving it.
